Last night we have been enjoying the first night of the Primavera Festival, we managed to see Public Enemy, Portished and De La Soul.

Very nice show... it was so nice to be back in the festival atmosphere... we really missed it

Where have we been?

First, apologies for the long period without updates, long time has passed since the last time we wrote on the blog but due to surrounding circumstances... ehm... we’ve been busy.

A small list of what happened in between:

We no longer work for Apple

We got on a boat

We left Ireland

We moved to Barcelona

From the start, the city made a very nice impression on us, overall it hasn’t been difficult getting around the place but all of this was possible only because Robbie, our new flat mate, is a great house hunter, knows his way around and was so kind to let us share his previous flat with us by the time we arrived.

So now, after one and half month we are 100% settled with jobs and everything and so happy with the outcome.

Hiya! Since the last time we decided to post something here a looot of things have happened. We have been on holidays in Spain and in Italy. We have enjoyed the beach and the sun. We had visitors, yeah. They came to verify how green and rainy Ireland is. I think they had a great time. And they even improved their English. We have been jazzing and drag to the pub many time by Mr. Anweiler because otherwise we won't move from the country side :) We have visited old friends. And we have tasted what it could be our next destination. Anyway, this Saturday Mr. Sushi will be a year older. Big party in programme together with some German friends. Hey folks, After a long long time without any kind of post, we are back. So since January, nothing major happened. Well, that is not completely true, because Mr. Evil Sushi, Lucky Luciano and Excalibur a.k.a. Toboganes, performed at the Liquid Lounge with a major success, more than 200 people enjoying the show. Apart from that, the only news from my side are that my department has moved to The Fridge. And yes, the new offices are nice and clean. I have got a lot of gadgets and a new Cinema Display ^_^. But it is frrrreaking cold, my back is sore, I hate air conditioning, is the most annoying thing someone can use in this country, for god's sake, it is never warm here!! So there I am @ the fridge with serious expression but hey, I am freezing here!! Almost forgot, my dear friend Vero is a year older today. So please go into the comments and tell her how much you love her (even though she is from Valladolid). And she can tell us the beautiful presents she got. Hey people this time I have admit that Mrs Sushi threw me off the roof (for happiness) with her persents and surprises. Well where to start... ah yes, on December the 30th we flew to Galicia via Madrid and we landed at the Barajas airport right after a big explosion disintegrated a 4 floors garage which use to stand right in front of the Terminal 4, our terminal... We got to Ferrol with a minimum delay considering the event. Anyway, once arrived we got fed with some premium food and what a cook... brilliant New Year's Eve was a very good one, we hooked up with the usual suspects and partied til morning This time we went to visit Lugo and its old surrounding wall. But the best part, I recevied an authentic analog effect handmade by Moog, pretty enough to make me go "Ballistic"; but that wasn't enough for Mrs Sushi so she decided to make me believe that I was going to have a quiet one and all of a sudden people started to come to the sushi house and the party began... unbelievable!!! So now if you'll ask me if I know a super great person... I do!! Enjoy, SushiEd

Hey mates!! Back on track before going on holiday (non arrivano mai...) and what I found? I found a series that you can watch for free. They are called We Are The Robots and they are so suppa evil... The one on the pic is Gothbot, she is at the club with her girliegothi friends talking about any other girl: Gothbot: Whore Friend: Total Whore Isn't it fabulous?? Well this crazy germans were working on this idea a while ago, the video is very cool. They played last year at the Electric Picnic, where this year we are soooooooo not going. As always happens, we find a good festival, and the organizers and their brilliant minds, what they do? Of course, raise (almost double) the prices. Brilliant guys!! Hey folks, the sun is shining in Ireland!! And after a badminton tournament and taking the first two baths on the Irish Sea this weekend, we are starting to place bets at job. The reason for this bets is the inminent start of the Football World Cup. The bet 5 yoyos. The prize 45 yoyos. The organizer Stephen Kennedy a.k.a. His Darkness. The rules, put your hand on an envelope and get a country. I got Serbia and Montenegro (not a chance to win). Do they actally have any famous player?? Mr. Sushi got Czec Republic (not many chances either but not that bad). I always support African teams, this year my favourite Cameroon is not into the World Cup, godammit!! Last Friday, I had to go to the bank to cash a cheque and once I was at the city centre, well, you know shop here shop there and so on and so forth, I bought this suppa duppa film, METROPOLIS. Well, I have to say that I am a big fan of manga but this film is just great, three of the manga masters worked on that: 1. Osamu Tezuka 2. Rintaro 3. Katsushiro Otomo With this line up, you just cannot miss it!! So go and see Kenichi and Tima trying to save the world from these evil robots. I am sure the Flaming Lips love this film. Hoy en castellano, es una de las que está de cumple es de Valladolid, y ya se sabe... Pues la Nuri estuvo de cumple hace unos días, exactamente el mismo día que la Queen of England, luxury total... Y como es así de luxury se fue a London a celebrarlo con la Queen, faltaría más. After long wait, there is a new memeber of the Sushi Music Productions.... Ladies and Gentlemen, let's welcome Gorbachev; technically known as Hagstrom Swede, this guitar is a son of the Seventies, legends say that some people used to find these guitars even better than Gibson Les Paul for their sound and feeling. For sure I can say that it is a very nice piece of equipment, the sounds you can get out of it are full, rich, warm ... and it can be used at very loud volumes, it is now my duty to bring you some work done by Gorbachev... stay tuned (Alex and I might surprise you) Another very extra important news is that while wondering in Amsterdam I managed to get the Limited Edition of the freshly released Motorpsycho's album, Black Hole/Blank Canvas. After an accurate listening not yet all complete as it is a double album I can already say that this truly one of the best albums I ever listened to... Mind blowing!! All the tracks are so saturated of sound like never, it certainly mean a huge work on over writing tracks and tracks for each song, but the results speak for themself, truly nice melodies, incredible arrangements, there is loud rock, there is soul, there are experiments... everything turns out to be a leap in the future because with this album MP are not any longer learning to play alternative rock, they are teachers! Rock is a drag, can never have enough!

Freezing

Hey everybody, Sushi for 2 is back with a bit of delay though due to the post-vacational shock. So we have spent two weeks between Italy and Germany. I do prefer Italy, I must say. Italy has been basically eating a lot and skiing a bit (Mr. Sushi skiing, Mrs. Sushi falling down the hill), and as you can see we have even met Hatori the Ninja (a.k.a. Gimmi), he was at the Dolomitas, wow. The trip to Munich was very funny, I have saved Mr. Sushi's life from an icing death. He wanted to do same thing as the ducks on the lake at the Olimpia Stadium, but he was too heavy (after all the pizza from Italy, hehe). So now and just for a short time, you can see the foot print of the Devil at the Cathedral and the foot print of the Bradipo at the Stadium. You cannot miss it!! Next holiday, in 20 days, yihaaaaa!! Winter is upon us! I recently heard from my all-time-friend Dean, based in Munich, many very interesting things about Enik... Enik is an artist who will, if it goes as planned, be quiet known. He has already put out an E.P. "Moon Addicted" published by !K7, an austrian label oriented towards D&B, house, a very good label... I would reccomend also to check out works from Kruder&Dorfmeister and their side projects (e.g. Tosca). Well after the first sight to Enik's style I can certainly smell a good atmosphere, good vibes, new ideas... I personally love the idea of pioneering new roads, Enik does it, and quiet well. Hi folks, here back to work after a wonderful holiday in Italy. Mr & Mrs Sushi have been going around Mr's Sushi home town: Jesolo. But we have been walking through Venice, Burano and The Alps. I have a big bruce that I got up to 2800 mt. yuhuu. But the bad news at least for me is that today I look like this fella here My colleague Christina told me that I also look like a hamster, you know, when they put all their food on one of their cheeks. Hey ladies!!! That's one of the songs of my now favourite DVD that I got for my B-day. I have to thank one thousand times to Ciclodi and some other Apples for this great present. And it's even better because I also got a Sushi Machine so I can put all my library there, wohoooo!!! I have to say that Mr. Sushi has a more than excellent taste buying presents. ^_^ The party was very busy, I'd say. There were too many people in my minisushi house, but it was very funny. My flatmate Mr. Iannizzotto couldn't believe it, hehe, usually we're two at home and suddenly the population doubled... I also want to call for worldwide help because my dear Euro Trash Kid and his friend Fabio gave me a present, a wonderful ginger cookie with bikini, that has been stolen!!!! Hi Folks, on Friday my friend-colleague Raúl told me about a little store that sells used dvd's for 6 euros, and Mr. and Mrs. Sushi said: "Let's give it a try". Before we went for a hop, skip and a jump. You should ask, what?. Well, it's just a juice of orange, carrot and apple, of course. Rico, rico. So after this healthy stuff, we adventured ourselfes on the Merchant's Quay Shopping Center, aaaaaaah. We got to the second floor and looked around for this Game shop. Finally we found it!! And what happened, well two dvd's happened... The first one I saw was Story Telling. What can í say, Todd Solondz, directing, Belle & Sebastian playing. After seeing his previous film Happiness that I love so much, I just couldn't miss this one. And as expected, I like it too. You have to see it, trouble teenagers, hehe, children that ijustwannakilljesuschristifigethimismashhim... So that was my choice. Mr. Sushi's decided for a classic English gangster film with the greatest Michael Caine, Get Carter. We tried to see it yesterday but it was too late, so...we'll try tomorrow. Long time has passed since the last post, well I believe that the reason for this has a name: Job. ...and I don't even feel like spending more words about it. Seeing this poor page unedited as it is, it made me feel sad, so taking the chance that the italians are leaving for their summer holidays, I take a breathe and tell you somethings which came to my attention lately. the first is a sad news for me: Bob Moog, the person who someone might consider as the father of the synthesizer was diagnosed with a brain tumor. He invented some of the finest music synthesizers ever and always worked as pioneer on the eletronic music. Sushi for 2 would like to rember the legendary Bob with his Minimoog. Heard anything of the Fantastic 4? They recently got out of the comic pages and started an adventure on the cinema screen... the result is quiet of film, unmissable if you ever read their adventures.... ch...ch...ch...check it out

Back to the cold

Hey everybody, we're back, well, we arrived one week ago. But it was such a shock that we could not post or sleep or anything. I'll tell you, we left Spain two Sundays ago with a sweeeet temperature. When we hit Cork Airport the temperature was 9 f****** Celsius degrees. So now on we're Mr. and Mrs. Frozen Sushi. But as many of you don't know the beautiful Galicia, I will show you some of their wonderful landscapes (just to tease you, you know, Mrs. Evil Frozen Sushi's back). So... The Sushi's and Dad in "La Playa de las Catedrales", one of the most amazing spots in Galicia (Please, notice our incredible bodies, due to the amazing galician food). We did so many things: We had dinner: We went by boat: And basically we had fun: In the pic, one of the most classy places in town, Ferrol, of course. So that's it for now, if you want to have all the pics to see how great is Galicia, just ask. We have been waiting for long long time but now it's time to get into the cockpit and fly to Galicia! We'll be leaving Cork city airport on saturday night, leaving behind work and rain and hope to land on Gallician ground finding the opposite. I'd like also to apologize if you didn't heard much from sushi's lately but we've been (I hate to say it) stressed, but we'll remedy with some posts from "the end of earth" as the old roman used to call where we're going. Now, considering that Galicia's reputation on food is quiet of a wonder... I'd like to hear from you some advices in order to not become the dinner of these kind of sea monsters ...but make them my dinner... See you in Spain!

Good morning lads, Monday morning, what else can I say. Here at the office is kind of quiet. I was having a look at the news about the Cannes Film Festival and what I have found? Gus van Sant has a new film, Last Days, which it sounds even more interesting when you realize that one of the main characters is our beloved Kim Gordon. We were so happy to see her every day in the news but now she is on the big screen!! So let's see when the movie is released for common people, but I'm looking forward to watch it. Wasting money

Hi lads, lately, it seems this is the only thing we do. Jeez, this has been the spending money weekend. Basically, we bought food as good spanish-italian people. But on Saturday, due to Verónica's birthday party we had to buy a little present of course. So walking around the city centre I decide to go for a purse, so I went to PrimeTime as they always have these cool handbags I like. But that was only Saturday. Sunday noon Plan: 1. I have a wedding (yes, one of my friends have decided to do this crazy thing in Summer, oh well). So if you have a wedding you need a dress or similar. So I went looking for something not very elegant, not very expensive...And I finished where I didn't want to finsih 2. Mr. Sushi needs a new pair of trousers since the bbq incident. Mr. Sushi's issue was really easy, I just needed two minutes to find a pair of trousers. Mr. Sushi liked them and that's all. Oh, and I almost forgot Friday. Well, on Friday, sunny day, got off job at 4, so what better to do than going to where Sushi for two can spend a fortune in five minutes... So what I got? The agenda for this summer is almost set up, we must see this guy in september. On Friday, our dear mate Jamie, let us know about a little festival near Dublin. Mr. Sushi and myself had a look at the line up and we just could not believe it: Fatboy Slim, Kraftwerd, Nick Cave, Mercury Rev, De La Soul, Mixmaster Mike, 2 Many Dj's, The Flaming Lips, Asian Dub Foundation... WOW, that's what i said when I saw it, I just couldn't believe it. This huge event is going to take place on Stradbally between the 3rd and 4th of september 2005. Dear friends, after a long time of laziness, Sushi for two strikes back. And as we usually do, we are going to another house warming party. This is one of the problems of having such a very busy social schedule, hehe. So this time is the turn to Camilla and Sebastian. And that is an Italian girl and a Danish guy, isn't that weird? Oooh, such a sweet pic!! The party starts around 8ish for Spanish and Italians (yeah, we are famous for our punctuality) and around 9ish for Nordics. The rules, well, bring all the alcohol you can drink...and all the stuff you can... And thank god it's FRIDAY, finally, after a very busy week for Sushi. Strings on BBQ

As eastern is in Italy an occasion to stuff your belly with food, we decided to take the chance and open the BBQ season in great style. I reccomend to the vegetarians be careful with what's written on the following lines as all the salad which was bought, still lies in the fridge... Well, the afternoon started around 2:00 PM on Sunday, after the shocking experience of taking my watch 1 hour forward I realized that I had people outside the house waiting for coming in set the BBQ on flames, infact they gathered in the garden and conquested the brand new gazebo, got for the occasion. The afternoon started to rock with Diego "Gallego" Colombini DJing the BBQ, and you can certainly tell that there was feeling between the 2... Once we filled ourself with a meal which would had been enough for an army, we still managed to move and even attempting some football, as you can see on this picture, Sirguy kicking the beer and drinking the ball at the same time... what a talent... After some good body moving and a gorgeous cheeseburger the event mutated into a massive Jam session, between the players we can spot (in random order) Ennio "Flamming Rib", Camillo "Kaz the fly", Beppe "Wild Gimpsy", Sirguy "Plastic rim-shot", Cheecheo "Pasta-racas-man"... and I can remember myself being there too and others... well it was a beautiful afternoon for the 2 Sushi for 2. It even ended in marvollous way, everybody wrecked, happy, drunk/stoned and tired. Well thanks everyone for coming, I apologize if I didn't name everyone who was there, but you all are in Sushi for 2 Hall of Memories. Happy Eastern!

Qué Onda Guero

Ladies & Gents, tomorrow my beloved Beck Hansen is releasing his new cd. The new album is called Guero, that in México means either blonde or american (thanks to my dear partner Fernando for this privileged info). I hope Mr. Hansen is coming back to his origins and make us dance like maniacs. Because the last record, Sea of Change (that i didn't particularly like), was published three years ago, and it wasn't very...let's say funky. Anyway, there are two versions of the Guero, the normal one, songs and that's all. But there is a special edition that I think Mrs. Sushi completely deserves, and it is, of course, the DeLuxe edition. One cd, one dvd, special remixes by Boards of Canada, Royksopp and Dizzee Rascal. Snakebyte Paddy, aka Saint Patrick

Once upon a time, the green island was invaded by poisonous snakes, then St. Patrick came with all his christianity, and sent 'em away, still today this brave brave missionary is remebered by all the Irish celebrating his quest, on every March 17th. The news that I found out is that he is still alive, no kidding, and he likes to party hardy... Couldn't manage to offer him a pint as he is a busy man, but Eurotrash Kid managed to take a picture. There was also other kind of heroes, warriors, drunks, druggies... all gathered for this big celebration. It was so big that I realized only now (5 days after) that I was part of it and should be telling you how things went. The problem is that I don't really remember it, even because I had no batteries for my camera, but thanks to Eurotrash Kid, you can read what happened and see few more pics. Tea at the Japanese Gardens

Hello all, while you're celebrating St. Patrick's Day, Ciclodi and myself have decided to go to the huge Golden Gate Park. There are a lot of things into the park, but my favourite as Mrs. Sushi are, of course, the Japanese Gardens. The gardens are just beautiful, we had a great time there. They're a present from the Japanese Goverment to the city of San Francisco. And they have budhas and pagodas, and this kind of ponds and waterfalls... Today the sun run away from the City, it was more kind of Irish weather, i guess it was in honor to St. Patrick. So as the day was a little bit chilly, we decided to have a cup of tea. We ordered green tea, and I have to say that it was awful, well it was disgusting. Do you know when you boiled vegetables that the water gets kind of green? Ok, so that was the tea we had, kind of green water, aj. Ok, guys so in a couple of days we'll be hiting Cork airport. Back to work I'm afraid, but I don't want to think about it at the moment. The Pacific is cold

Yesterday I went to Fitzgerald Beach. Sunny day but chilly. But I did what i wanted. I tried the Pacific's water, and it's cold. I never thought that it could be colder than the Atlantic, as they have al theses sharks and dolphins and stuff, but oh well, maybe it was that cold because it was windy, don't know. Anyway, today we've been walking around all the time. Hill up hill down, I think I should rent a Mustang and go crazy like Steve McQueen in Bullit. But, no way, I have to climb all these hills by myself. So this is one of the most famous streets in San Francisco, Lombard St, and I climbed it, all the way up. I almost die but i did it!!! You won't do it twice in a day because Lombard St. is very long and it goes up all the time from North Beach. Everything is so big in The States... And of course, Sushi for two, well half of it, got there as all the Beat Generation but without hard drugs, hehe. And this picture is an evidence. Hey everybody!! I'm back in San Francisco from a trip to Las Vegas, and I'm not broke!! I would rather call this city Dollar City because the main thing to do is to spend a fortune. So, let's start from the beginning. On Wednesday we arrived at the airport around noon. And what's the first thing you see at the airport? Slot machines!! Prepare your dollars ladies & gentlemen... So we took a taxi to our hotel, The Excalibur, oh my dog!! I just couldn't believe it, a medieval castle in the middle of the desert?! All the hotels here are designed to spend all day there, give us all your money, don't go any further! You have everything, casino, of course, restaurants, shops, cinema, swimming pool, spa, shows,... And anything else? Oh yes, more hotels, of all kinds, you can go around the world just walking (a lot by the way). What do you fancy? Egypt? Ok, so you have The Luxor, a piramyd, yes a piramyd. Actually, the building is really cool, my favourite. the decoration inside is...hehe very Egyptian. The best thing of this hotel is that it has an Imax cinema. Ciclodi and me went to see Sharks by Jean-Michel Cousteau, wow, cool, it's like you're diving with them. And they give you this idontknowhowtocallit glasses. And if you don't like Egypt, you have Venice, Paris even New York with Empire State included. But if you want to see more pics, first I want to see your comments, Mrs. Evil-Sushi rules!!!

Hello everybody, so here I am in The States, isn't that weird? I arrived here on Saturday after a long long flight. After recovering from the damn jet lag (I slept 14 hours) we went to visit the Pacific. Half Moon Bay, beautiful name, huh? There you go, Pacific waves (Mr. Sushi, that's for you) But today, we hit The City. We've been walking all day around Fisherman's Wharf. Basically it's the San Francisco's harbour, and you can see the non so famous Oakland's bridge. And what about the skyscrapers, oh yes, there are a lot, my neck is hurting now. You know, maybe it's that I'm used to the Old Europe, but it's so weird to see only new buildings, even the cathedrals are new. One of the most famous skyscrapers from San Francisco is the Piramyd. There you go. Oh oh, have you ever thought about having a magic carpet ride? Now you know where to go, San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf. Then a visit to the sea lions, I wanna be one of them, what a life...all day laying around, swimming and having sun baths. And Ed, I'm sorry but I found another bradipo, and he has a good spot, even more posh than Monte Notte!!! Well guys, it's time to sleep now, tomorrow shopping in The City, this is dangerous!!!

Francisco 19.26: Ed arrives at home, meets cousing Gimmi Falchetto who trys to stop him with stories that drive people nuts, but Gimmi misses his target. Ed is gone, on the way to Dr Lehendakari, a man who doesn't need to justify his actions. 21.19: Ed used his mobile-wireless-self-powered-talking-making-noises device to inform agent Destrini that the hit would had striked that night. 21.39: Rendez-vous with Ed, Dr. Lehendakari and special agent Destrini. Once gathered, they have been seen entering a local weapon shop... I don't want to fall asleep

This tittle could seem a line from the plot of Nightmare on Elm Street,, but it is real. On Saturday, I'll be flying to San Francisco with Ciclodi. The matter is that is a thirteen hours flight so I need to be tired. But, since I have so great friends as my dear sushi-mate and my dear lehendakari , they have promised me to keep me awake all Friday night. So what are they going to do? I don't know. They're talking about a party. I wouldn't mind at all a party before going on holidays...actually, I think is a great idea. Now they're talking about a rave at the airport, oh well, we'll see what happens. It's a funny idea though. Wondering in Italy

Bradipo is back in the green island! during this holiday I realized that taking 1 week off is not always a good idea, i had to give a miss to the Alps and I'm still angry for that, but my time in Italy has been just fine... really needed it! I was walking around in the cold weather, I took some pictures (few) but good I got into the shop and found Toriyama's stuff I bought some bricks of paper (books) for the spare Sushier Sushi for 2 loves Akira Toriyama's work I got those comics, 2 number 1's and 1 number 2 Happy readings... Pizza at Diego's

Hey Ed, did you think that you were the only one having authentic Italian pizza, huh? I'm afraid that you were wrong, because on Wednesday we had real pizza at Diego's. We had a very nice dinner followed by cards, oh yes, we were playing this funny Spanish game called "culo" or "culio", that's Trina's version which i love. We had four different pizzas, with cheese, cheese and cherry tomatos, with salamino and tuna. ñam, ñam. These are four very nice guests... So after dinner, as I said before, we played cards. I must say that I lost a couple of times but also others did. So i want to thank Diego for such a nice dinner and Román, Deirdre, Julien, Trina, Beppe, Lucia and Brian for the company. Summer Festival instinct

This morning I heard the radio talking about festivals and all of a sudden a shiver ran through my back... the reason of this is because every summer, Ed, absolutely needs to go to a freaking festival to freak out. Now, the radio was talking about Oxegen, an event that will be held in a little town near Dublin... I went to Oxegen festival last summer and I found it really not... ehm... like a festival should be. There was no freaks, no atmosphere, no big party whatsoever... in other words, I didn't like it... The line up for this year's edition is shaing up in these days, by now you you can see Foo Fighters, Ian Brown and Prodigy... the problem is that this is not a true festival. I remeber back in the days when I was still living in my hometown, Jesolo, there use to be this very nice event:The beach bum rock festival ... What a happy days... Anyway the issue is regarding the upcoming summer, which festival will we hit? I'd like to receive suggestions, even if they involve massive movements across Europe, I can migrate like a buffalo would do in the jungle We'll see you in the next town!

I've just seen three movies of Wong Kar Wai. The fist one I saw was Happy Together. And there is nothing new in this film, two guys arrived to Buenos Aires from Honk Kong, love story,fights, blah blah...But the way the story's told and the way the movie's shot, is just great. Then I saw Chunking Express, but honestly, I don't remember anything. That's called fish memory. In the mood for love. I don't know, I think it was kind of slow. I liked it but, maybe I was expecting something else. The photography is beautiful, and the actors great. The music is brilliant, even though, we have to admit that Nat King Cole had a horrible Spanish accent. So, 2046. The premiere was of course in Valentine's Day. It was very succesful in Cannes, and it has to be good. I will probably watch it this week, but if you can't resist it just click here

Travel jet set, trash and no troubles

We want to travel and we want it now! Maybe the original version was a little diffrent, but that's what I really can't wait for. Today I want it to give some "travel tips" to whoever is going to take a trip any where. I'd like to start from me: I will be travelling to Italy and I forecast at least 4 pizzas a day, it will more likely a pizza therapy but it's something that an italian has to do at least twice a year, you can call it religion or food mania, but this is what I should avoid, the typical pizza allucination. For who is planning to travel oversea, first of all you need power and make sure that the airplane has enough power!!! And absolutely, you need to learn how to pack the suitcase. It's always better on holiday

I think everybody agrees with me today. Sushi for 2 have planned all our holidays. So this is our schedule: At the end of February, Ed is going to leave me alone to visit his beloved Jesolo. He is going to have healthy food again, lucky boy, could you please bring me some tiramisú at least? But then, in less than a week, I'm going to cross the ocean to visit, as people say, the most beautiful city of USA: Oh, yes. This is a thirteen hours flight. Wow, please, if you have any suggestions about what to do in such a long flight just scroll down to comments and say something there. I'll probably visit Las Vegas, my friend Justin is coming down form Utah to see me, cool!! And finally, in June Sushi for 2 will visit the best place in the world, almost so good as Jesolo, Galicia!!!!! Yeah, guys, Ed & myself will be visiting Galicia during two looong weeks. We'll try the most delicious (and cheapest) food in the world, Ed is going to try for the first time the "mariscada" wich is a whole trail full with all kinds of seafood. Dios, qué rico!! This pic is a very good example to let you know how beautiful Galicia is, specially a little town called Ferrol. This is where Sushi's staff is going to spend most of the time doing nothing but taking sun baths and having fun, from dawn to dusk. But don't worry, we will keep you informed about all these hollydays. We'll post many pics, just to tease you while you are working... Oh yes, we are evil, we know.

The title doesn't really match the reality, but it sounded good! As I said in the comments of Maria's post, I'm back today after spending a lazy day at home, no big things just lazyness... Today, February the 8th is Pancake's Tuesday! Everyone is strongly invited to Pancakes, just a reccomandation, if you happen to find Pancakes in Apple's canteen, DO NOT EAT THEM, there might be curry hiding in the recipy of our beloved chef. I'm just trying to prevent a natural disaster made by unexperienced ingredients on pancakes. Talking about the House Warming Party, well, it has been such a brilliant success, we posted some pictures which you can view clicking here . We also released a video, documenting the brave quest of Lord Bruno de los Torpedos, brave Lord Bruno scored the Washing machine Goal and as prize he received and shared Cevabcici!! Hello there, after the big event that took place on Saturday, Sushi for two has one of its members sick at home. Yeah, Ed had a terrible migraine today, so he came to work, we had a little chat and he went back home. Now my IChat is kind of dead. Ed come back soon! Sushi for 2 will hold a party this Saturday night, the occasion is the house warming party of my new place (Ed), I must say that nowaday I gained a fairly good experience on moving houses, so on this last, I didn't take to much to make myself at home and here we are now... House Warming Party! Let it be! I wanted to take the chance also to wish the best to my friend Cristiano B., a very good friend of mine, we had a great time in Munich which started when he decided to invite me to his B-Day party, and I paid him back throwing myself on a row of chairs, just carried away by Nirvana's tunes... what a happy night was that... Yeah, today is the Groundhog day!! I'm sure everybody remembers this film with Bill Murray and Andie MacDowell. Actually Bill is forced to live the worst day of his life on and on. My day has started really bad. I arrived late at job (again). I woke up at 7.15, couldn't believe it. So I went to the shower, then I ran all over the place looking for my stuff, and then I ran all over the city trying to find a taxi. But, oh my dog!! no taxies in Cork on a Wednesday morning. So I had to wait for my dear bus n.2, cool! Anyway, the day is getting better. The Jam, the Beach and the Pants

I wonder how, but now that we posted in spanish, no other nationality had complained about the language of our blog... Spanish must be a very world wide spoken language then... or am I wrong? Whatever... we're back! 's last weekend went through some kind of interesting moments, if you can speak spanish, find the Doolittle's concert review here below, if you can't speak spanish, try another day... Spotlights were on during the Saturday's afternoon Jam session, after picking up Adan, the fretless rascal bass player, Luciano and Wonder-Brenda (he hasn't a drum kit yet...but Brenda was a nice alternative) I must say it was really nice to catch up for the beloved Saturday's Jamming. Sunday was then dedicated to ... ehm... I forget... oh yes, trip to Clonakilty's beach to enjoy the sea's breeze, unfortunately Sushi for 2's staff couldn't make it all together to the spot because of seating issues... sorry to whoever deserves it... I really mean it. As I mentionned on the title then, the Pants! It's just a funny picture of Gimmi's trousers I wanted to share... hoping that no petrol company will mind about any copyright... what the hell, they sell diesel fuel, not clothes...

Debido a la cantidad de protestas de mis querid@s amig@s sobre el idioma utilizado en este blog pues ahí os voy a contar lo que Sushi for 2 han hecho este fin de semana, pero en castellano. El sábado, fuimos a ver en The Vault a una banda que hacía versiones de The Pixies, sí versiones. Que no son los auténticos, we know, pero estuvo bien. Yo bailé un montón. Y ahí os pongo unas fotitos buenas de los Sushi el sábado por la noche, para que lo disfrutéis. Y si queréis criticar, ya sabéis nos dedicáis un comentario bueno que ya os responderemos. Esto por hoy, mañana más y mejor!!

Today on the breakfast table there was a very peculiar structure of a 3 pieces croissant which probably leaded Sushi's staff to go towards the world of design (maybe not the all world...), but of course this isn't the only reason, everything started when "Maria the digital mate" pointed out Verner Panton's web site: www.vernerpanton.com It's a nice place to have breakfast, isn't it? But I think that everything came out yesterday in the afternoon. I don't know why I started to talk about Verner Panton, but I was sure you'll love it. By the way, if you guys have time and money, you can go to Munich and visit this place www.atomic.de, it will remind you Verner's furniture. Hey Ed do you know a cool place for dinner?

Very cold today in Cork city, new born sushi for 2 has already readers from Spain, France, England, Ireland, Germany and hopefully Italy as well. It makes me very happy to know that it has been so easy to make possible such a thing, thanks everyone for the support! All right, today let's give the word to the music! I wanted to spot on few things I came across in the past days. Sonic Youth, they put out a new DVD with videos shot between 1990 and 2002, for who likes this band, this is something impossible not to have rare videos from most of their records ... Highly reccomended! www.sonicyouth.com Next I wanted to highlight the last work of those norwegian fellas named Motorpsycho, once again they surprised me with the latest idea, this time they went towards the Far West! The new record revolves around an older album they released during the 90's: "The Tussler". Once they put together The international Tusssling Society band, the all band moved in an artic polar ranch and record the album, all of this is documented by the included DVD. Following their ususal attitude of hiding things, the DVD reveals new scenes for the first 4 or 5 times you watch it, I don't want to ruin your surprise... so for more info, go to motorpsycho.fix.no and look around!
